This week the Sprouts learned how to ground their energy with Jessica and began exploring the ‘sway test’. This is a self-testing technique that provides “yes” or “no” answers through the body’s subconscious/intuition. We incorporated this new tool through out the week to do body checks and even pick crystals for meditation. Ask your child to show you how it works! Thursday Today we began with our morning circle inside, moving our energy and feeling our energy ball creations. Our card choices were on point as always. Meditation time had students seeing very specific colours that had lots of accuracy for them that I shared that connected to the Core lesson on our energy this week. After circle we had a snack and chatted rather than reading a story. Free play ensued afterward for a short period of time before we got outside for a 2.5 h

We began our week with a beautiful Spring Equinox ceremony led by Jessica. Leroy birthed his drum and we called in the new season with song. In the Sprout room; we read a story highlighting the winter to spring transition and signs of spring to come. Thursday We began with snacks today as everyone was hungry this morning! Once we arrived to circle Gordie volunteered to lead our morning routine. This wasn't something we talked about, however, since he turned 5 over the weekend he felt particularly proud of what he could do 🔥 and we rolled with it! He did a fantastic job leading the group.
