Community Classes

Join Jessica Smalls, founder of The School of Purpose, for Monday evening community classes from 5-9pm for adults looking for cooking, connection and sewing instruction with a community purpose.

Two Sessions Are Available:​​

Soup & Sewing Revival

When:  Mondays 5pm-9pm: February 9, 16, 23, March 2, & 9 â€‹

Exchange:  $250+HST per person
**Support Person can attend for FREE if required

Maximum 6 participants (plus support people)

Where:  1550 Brydges Street London, Ontario​​

Join Jessica for 5 weeks (20 hours) of community and instruction in valuable life skills that fill our bellies and needs in our community.  Each Monday, a new soup will be created to share together. Our sewing focus is on upcycling sweaters and socks into cozy mittens that will be donated to those in need in our community.  Participants can choose to keep a pair of mittens they make for themselves or to gift to someone specific in their life as well.

Soup & Seed Revival

When:  Mondays 5pm to 9pm: March 23, 30, April 6, 20 & 27​

Exchange:  $250+HST per person
**Support Person can attend for FREE if required

Maximum 6 participants (plus support people)

Where:  1550 Brydges Street London, Ontario​​

Join Jessica for 5 weeks (20 hours) of community and instruction in valuable life skills that fill our bellies and needs in our community.  Each Monday, a new soup will be created to share together. Our SEED focus is on preparing seeds for planting in our home gardens.  Each participant will create a unique plan for their home garden and receive their own mini worm farm to help keep their garden soil nutritious.  Seeds will be started and kept in our greenhouse until the end of our sessions.  Planting instructions for home garden will be provided.
