Share the magic day was an absolute blast and super organized! I want to thank our educators for joining us for the day, as they truly made it possible for students to be supported in playing, learning and exercising their choices in executing their chosen jobs throughout the day.

Our morning started shortly after 9am with students able to walk around and check out the sale space, as it was all set up during the school day on Friday between creative pursuits. The energy was palpable and many big feelings came up. We utilized our circle time to support student understanding around trusting their feelings when customers came in, identifying they could play in the imagination station and run outside if that is what they needed throughout the day. We all protected the school and our own personal energy by creating a protection bubble all around ourselves.

Throughout the day we had students complete their jobs at the checkout table working a shift for an our at a time with play breaks when there were no costumers. Pay for working each hour was $10. So, some students got to learn about making and keeping commitments and consequences for actions. If we are scheduled to work, we show up for our whole shift. Student jobs were in inventory tracking and reading values of items, working the checkout station with an abacus (all items had dollar values), and the packing station where they wrapped and packaged items after asking what the customer preferred. All our employees did an amazing job and learned lots.

Our Crystal draws were completed at 1:30 pm. Lola chose the following winners from the bag of names:

Adriana - Rose Quartz

Meave - Small Clear Quartz

Tiffany - Large Quartz

Our Drum draw was also completed at 1:30pm. Lola chose Sandra Forbes as the winner of the drum!!

The sale ended with students returning home and our crew tearing down and packing away the sale. It was a wonderful day and it was heart filling to hear from Grandparents and Parents how they enjoyed their time with us.

Thank you everyone!!!
