This week we read the book “Flower Talk”. The students learned about the way flowers communicate to pollinators. They shared which purple and yellow flowers they see around the park and in our backyard. These are the bees favourite flowers. During our Project Period, students reviewed their knowledge of plant parts and labelled a diagram in their portfolio. Plant life cycles were reviewed as well. Other activities included Mother’s Day cards and creations, crystal magic, alphabetical order practice, magic e review, and our last teaching: perseverance. We replanted our pothos vines that had grown roots and compared and contrasted. We began some Share the Magic Day creations this week as well and coin review.

Jessica taught the Sprouts about their throat chakra and how to activate that energy, this week.

Students chose to either create a song or poem for their Mom for Mother’s Day. Either choice supported requirements for a Drum or Creation Badge. If your child created a song, you will have received that via email on Tuesday. Wishing all families a beautiful Mother’s Day! 🌸

Picture Day was a success! I will share the link to photos once received by Becca in the next couple of weeks.

It will be Jude’s turn for Mystery Bag on Monday.
