Thursday
We started our day with our morning circle and welcomed Eva for her trial week.
After our morning routine of moving our energy in our own ways, singing, activating and exercising our intuition, meditating and sharing in circle; we sat down for snack and story time. Today we enjoyed the continuation of our Chickweed Herb Fairy book.

After reading and a short game time, we entered the kitchen to create our feast! We all worked together to mix the ingredients for vegan, gluten free waffles from scratch. Everyone did a fantastic job participating in the creation, from adding ingredients, to mixing and singing.
Eva took a survey to find out who wanted waffles and who wanted French toast. After creation time we had observers and others who needed movement and game play, so we had free time. My kitchen observers enjoyed seeing the changes in the French toast and waffles as they cooked.
Everyone received their feast foods, enjoyed the maple syrup and appreciated the experience of our larger group.

Clean up was swift and we made it outside for a hike and play in the rain.
After returning from the wet outdoors, we played games and our trial student worked on completing her book project.
We enjoyed a great sharing board, discussion our favourite parts of the day.

Friday
We played a game called Boggy Buddies together before we settled in for circle this morning. Circle was on point with lots of insight for us during our meditation time with our animal cards.

After Circle and throughout the day, we finished the first Herb Fairy Book, learning about chickweed and its edible and medicinal uses.
After some creation time, we went out to hike in the beautiful day. We first stopped at the climbing tree and tested our feelings around being high up and confidently moving about the tree. Then we hiked over Potter's Creek and had stick races in the swollen waters. We continued on through Kiwanis park to the swing set for some swinging time and back around to the playground for some playtime. Lots of learning happened today, and we found many flowers on the trees and coming up from the ground on flowers.

We returned to finish stories, play more games and have our sharing board time (forgot the picture today).
