Our first student makers market is quickly approaching! This special day is open to all who would like to attend. Please spread the word to your family and friends to create a successful day for our students.
For those new to our community this year:
• Students arrive at school at the regular time, but may leave early with parents once their jobs have been completed.
• All students will be taking part in the day.
• Sprouts work together at ‘The Sprout Store,’ while Seedlings & Saplings each have their own business.
• Sprout students will receive their earnings the following week once we have engaged in the math around counting and dividing. If they would like to buy something on STM day, it is recommended that money is sent with them that morning.

Seedlings & Saplings have all signed paperwork with their commitment to pay back their materials to keep their materials fund topped up for the end of this sale, their next sale, or our June sale.
Students will be responsible for their own earnings, and I will follow up throughout the day. It is recommended to send your business person with approximately $20 in small change (5's, 2s, 1s and quarters) for a float for their table. This money is not intended for spending. Any personal spending each student would like to do on the sale day will need to be from their own personal money, outside of what they create for themselves on Share The Magic Day. This part is crucial for their learning to support the concept that what comes through a business is not all theirs.
